DELASI TOURS 2023 BECE EXAMS CENTRES

Image
It is  always humbling for me to serve people, society and my dearest country Ghana in one way or the other. Last week was another great experience for me as I took some time off my busy schedules to tour some BECE EXAMINATION CENTRES in the country.  As a Youth Leader (Youth President - International Youth Network for United Nations Security Council Resolution 2250 - IYN UNSCR2250) and also National President of GHANAFIRST CRUSADERS MOVEMENT, I couldn't sit back and watch our younger siblings write their first Formal examination without inspiring and encouraging them. I was humbled to be joined by one of my amazing brother, friend and Youth leader; Samuel Obeng Badu who serves as the Youth Minister for Finance under the Youth Government System of IYN UNSCR2250.  It was a great experience as we met over 2000 BECE Candidates. As we interacted with them, we inspired them, encouraged them and also advised them to be of good behaviour after writing the exams. I shared ...

THE GHANA WE WANT; YOUTH LEADERS MUST POLISH THEIR MINDSETS

Image
Is it not sickening and disheartening to see fellow Youth try to destroy and bring down another Youth all in the name the so-called politics, selfish interests and gains I'm deeply surprised at the comments of some young people in my DM; who are speaking negatively about the GHANAFIRST CRUSADERS MOVEMENT initiative. Let me first establish the point as I've always said that I Delasi; I love constructive and positive criticism but I don't kowtow to mediocrity and "Pull Him Down" attitudes. As I've always held; some young people and Youth leaders are grossly in bed with the porous, rotten and sickening systems. Some of these Youth leaders are only championing selfish, greedy and parochial interests over the National Assignment. Some of them are political puppets and bootlickers who are not making any meaningful progress to the National Discourse. Most of these Youth are pawns to their so-called political fathers / godmothers without any meaningful sharpening fo...

AFRICAN UNION DAY 2020 ESSAY BY HAVI DELASI JUSTICE The African Union (AU) is a continental union consisting of 55 member states located on the continent of Africa.  The AU was announced in the Sirte Declaration in Sirte, Libya, on 9 September 1999, calling for the establishment of the African Union. DON'T PRESS THE PRESS

Image
DON'T PRESS THE PRESS  Why "Press The Press"?. There is a machinery and Institution which is regarded as the Fourth Pillar and Fourth Organ or Arm of Government; The Press. The multifunctional roles the media and press play cannot be underestimated by any means. The twenty first century contemporary world is fast advancing and moving at high speeds of development in all spheres, sectors and aspects of individual human lives, cooperate organizations, governments among others.  The Press and Media which comes in forms of print, electronic, digital media by far is such a vital organ in modern day democracy and contemporary world. This significant organ has been useful in revealing corrupt practices in leadership and governance, demanding for accountability of governments and public institutions, fetching the heard and silent voices of ordinary citizens into broad day light. The press has also helped to unveil certain untold truths in leadership, it has also helped to a...

"PEACE PIECE" The 21st Centrury has been such an inspiring one from all angles and perspectives of human life, society transformation, national developments and a Common Goal of Global peace, political stability, free access to fundamental human rights and freedoms, proper governance and politics among others. Global Peace has always been such a pertinent item, issue and content of daily and periodic discussions. Whilst the fight is on, diversified approaches and strategies are been used to achieve peace and stability in our countries and elsewhere, there is this high cost need for youth across the globe to champion this course and drive this message of peace home. "Peace is a good element which propagates, elevates and births progress and development in society. Peace is a viable seed which needs to be sow, nursed and nurtured"..... DELASI JUSTICE (2019).  Over the past two decades, Ghana as a country has periodically and continuously participated and featured...

"THE BLACK LIGHT"

Image
"The Black Light" Don't sleep in the muddy watery slippery waterlogged land. Raise your head above to see the calling hand. Out of the ashes we rise. I know no defeat, because I know no such son under the sun. Struggles they say are inevitable but some of my life occurrences are unbelievable.  Thanks to the midwife that sustained my fading life, it is for that reason I always pray to have a good life. Good life? Yeah, the kind I desire is to transform, inspire, mentor and empower the clueless empire. Surrounded with lots of pollutions and all these things nearly led to my retardation. The common adage, "suffer to gain", pushed me through my sandwich struggles to use my muscles to hustle. Naive, confused, depressed, perplexed, misled about the future. The "Black Seed" was placed in the dark; a place where I could not even trace my marks to my back. Silently I begin to recite, reciting the tough lines because I have seen the light. But wait, wha...
